Our favorite part of the night was the gender reveal, which Heather worked on with the bride and groom. The DJ alternated blue and pink lights while Jordan and Austin announced to their guests that they were expecting. After the announcement they began their first dance and our DJ switched the lighting color to reveal the gender. It was a surprise for the bride and groom too! Even though we are often part of big events in peoples' lives, it was a treat to be part of two big events in the lives of this couple and their families.
Their choice of black table and chair linens really made the lanterns on the tables pop. The shape of the lanterns was reminiscent of a hot air balloon, which tied in nicely with the adorable "Up" themed guest book.
